Common questions
How does the 30-day trial work?
You sign up with just an email. We provision your facility within one business day with full Pilot-tier access. No credit card. At the end of 30 days, if you want to keep going, we'll send a Stripe link to set up billing. If not, your facility is archived and codes stop redeeming. You can also request a trial extension — we approve most reasonable extensions.
What counts as a 'seat'?
One concurrent listening session. If you have 100 residents but only 20 are listening at any given moment, a 25-seat plan covers you. We never disconnect mid-session — we'd just refuse new redemptions past your cap.
What if I outgrow my tier mid-month?
We'll send a courtesy notice when you're consistently hitting your cap. Upgrading takes effect immediately and we prorate the difference. No mid-month surprises.
Can I switch between tiers?
Yes. Up- or downgrade any time. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you finish out the period you've already paid for.
What about HIPAA?
v1 is explicitly designed without PHI — residents are anonymous code-redeemed sessions. No names, no diagnoses, no room-level identification stored. For customers who want a BAA, that's an Enterprise add-on on our roadmap.
Do I need separate hardware?
No. U4EA runs on any iPhone, iPad, Android phone or tablet, modern smart-TV browser, and (coming soon) Apple TV, Tizen, webOS, and Chromecast. Use whatever your facility already has.
